1973 Porsche Carrera RS colors?
I just got the Fujimi Enthusiast 1973 Carrera RS, and the decal sheet has three sets of decals: Red, black, and green 'Carrera' scripts. Does anybody have a list of factory colors and what racing strips went with them?

Not sure if there is any "receipt" for this. I've seen white cars with red and green lettering, yellow cars with black, blue and red, etc...

OK, so it's pretty much whatever? I wish it came with white, that would look good on a British Racing Green backdrop.
I think I have the CD for Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed around here somewhere, that might help is choosing a color combination LOL |

Re: 1973 Porsche Carrera RS colors?
there were tons of color combinations for the RS. aside from the popular white body with blue or red, i have seen some with the green & black scripts. other body colors were orange, yellow, red, blue, black and green. there was a silver one with red scripts, a custom ordered one of from werk 1.
here's a link that shows some of the body color. http://www.scala43.com/scala43/porsche.htm hope this helps.

Zonda-
THANK YOU! That link is perfect, I have been looking for something like that all evening. Mustard yellow would be cool. |

Hi Steve,
pay attention with the green, in reality it's a little bit darker than what shows the picture. the yellow could be the tamita TS color, but I can't remember which reference, not the lighter one, I think it might be TS 16 ? Phil |
