what's a good clutch
ihave a 00 g and i have a feeling that i will be needing a clutch real soon. Do the sentra se and g have the same clutch? it's just not grabbing like it used to as a matter of fact second doesnt' chirp at all anymore. And since they fiddled with the tranny for 00-02 is the clutch still the same as the 99's? i don't want a grabby clutch like the stage 1 clutch masters i had in my sentra, engagements was brutal , i got the stage 3 version which was much smoother but was also more expensive , yes i know i go through clutches like underwear but the only smooth clutch i ever tried was a centerforce on my buddies probe gt. and if the g does have the same clutch as the sentra why would nissan do such a thing i mean the g has almost 300 more pounds to pull around . any help is much appreciated..thanx

You probably are just abusing your clutch. The clutch from my Sentra SE-R lasted 159k miles and I don't drive like a granny. I just don't abuse my clutch or gearbox.

I am wondering the same thing about what is a good clutch. the only difference is I want to keep the costs low on the replacement kit yet have the clutch perform better than OEM.
Is the SACHS SUPER CLUTCH SET worth it? Like $187. To George Roffe, You had mentioned once about a Economic Nissan Clutch Kit through Courtesy I think for like $100 or less. Could you give me any more details on it? Is it just a OEM replacement kit or is it better than stock? Remember cost effective, but better than OEM. Thanks guys

oh yeah definately, i abuse the car no doubt about it, but i figure it's a lease why not as long as nothing breaks go for it. it's almost up anyway but i figure that clutches are under wear and tear so warranty wont pay for it. It's just that i have the best highways around here where cops don't patrol for some reason, my car i would say is over 5000 rpm for about half of the time i'm in it, the car continues to amaze me this motor can ttake some serious abuse. and don't let me get started on my little brother let me put it to u this way he got his liscence only about a year ago and i have already upgraded to 205/55/15. Compared to alot of the vw's my friends have the g can take much more abuse, they've gone through mounts axles and other typical vw stuff. but anyway now i'm ranting,,,,how much is the jwt clutch
