2001 Grand Am Fan Knob Problem
I have a 2001 Grand AM SE V6 3.4. I've had numerous problems in the last year but the latest seems to be my fan knob only blows air when set to levels 3, 4 and 5. When it is set to levels 1 and 2 there is no air blowing at all just like it is turned to off. I found an easy quick fix for the Security non starting issue from this forum last year so I hope there is an equally as easy fix to this fan knob problem. Please advise. Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to AF!
This is a common problem, but once you replace the blower resistor you hsouldnt have anymore troubles. Heres a link to the repair procedures its in our tips and maintenance sub forum at the top of the GA forum  Blower Motor & Resistor Removal - 99+ Grand Am Hope that helps!
