Re: turbo

We have spell check for a reason!

Now the easiest thing to do is buy a kit, they go for around $3g but it would come with everything and you could run about 8psi and you would have around 200whp.

Due to some technical issues, some of the posts aren't there anymore. But regardless, there are still a lot of things in there that will help you out with this...

Re: turbo

The only "bang" you'll get for your buck is when the motor goes out after running a big turbo for awhile. You can run the stock t-25/14b turbo's on 7psi for awhile, but the motor wears quickly. If you want to go turbo, build it up right the first time.

www.hahnracecraft.com has some good turbo kits for many different ranges, but they cost an arm, or you can build your own. www.2gnt.com has a good write-up on how to make your own kit.

Re: turbo

I would go with the hahn kit, esecially if you have the cash. As far as how long the motor will that, it really depends. Mine wore quickly because I kept spiking 9-10psi when my fuel injectors maxed at 8psi. You need to do a lot of research before you even think about putting a turbo on that car.

Re: turbo

You need a 6" exhaust tip and a sticker in your window that says "Nawwwzzzzz is the shit! I have no idea what I'm doing..."

After that, try and write a coherent thread. Don't worry, take your time.

Re: turbo

Easy guys....

Turboing a car is not for the faint of heart and can cost a lot of money, especially if you dont know what you are doing. The best bang for you buck would be to sell that RS/GS and get an already turbo DSM.
