Re: Fuse Panel Location

Welcome to AF.

The one you need is located by the glove box.

Re: Fuse Panel Location

Thanks!

I would appreciate your advice if my car already equipped with a factory keyless entry system?

It is a 2001 Grand Prix

Re: Fuse Panel Location

Do you have a alarm keypad on your keychain that activates the door locks. If you do I would say it came equipped. If you bought the car used and only got one key thamn it probably has the keyless entry. Mine alarm pad also lets me pop the trunk....good luck

Re: Fuse Panel Location

There is an SPID label located on the back of the trunk lid. Look for the GM RPO code of AU0 which is remote keyless entry. The body control module (BCM) must support RKE before it will work unless you are sure your GP came with a remote and RKE system.

The fuse you will need to pull to program the remote is MALL PGM.
