VW Pics needed.

Does anybody have pics of a vw bug(1960's) dashboard or speedometer that could printed for use on Tamiya's 1966 VW bug?

Re: VW Pics needed.

This one is for 1960 to 1967, with the 1200cc engine they added 10 miles/h more.

After 1967, it changes, the needle is different.

Tell me if this is what you need.

PS: scanned from SuperVWmagazine - dec.06 - page32 'Type1 & 2 gauges'

take a close look, that's a reproduction guage. even as close as it is to the real one, you'll need to photo chop out the VDO moniker from above the MPH marker, and if you are going for a car that's from europe, or other country using KPH, you'll have to find a completely different guage.

Re: VW Pics needed.

If it needs to be printed on a decal sheet for a 1/24 dashboard you'll never see the difference between KpH and MpH. Just my

dubs used VDO gauges for a long time. stock and NOS (new old stock) guages like in my '70 beetle, friend's split oval, etc.

really? I was unaware of that. I know the super beetle behind my mother in law's house doesn't have VDO on the cluster, and my cousin's 66 full resto required some MAJOR searching to find an OEM cluster that didn't have the VDO moniker on it. now, I'm NOT saying you are wrong, I don't know enough about V-dubs to make a strong arguement, I'm just going off of what I've seen.
