ZC Crank Info
So, this ZC motor I have has some scoring on the crank. I have a perfect crank out of the 88-89 Teg motor. My question is, will the teg crank work fine with the ZC motor? I have tried searching around, and from what I can find, the internals should work. But can anyone back this up?

From my research, the bottom end (basically anything in the block, not including pistons, and I think connecting rods??) is just like a d16a6...in terms of replaceable parts (oil pump, bearings, etc..) - but I dunno if a d16a6 crank will match exactly to a ZC.
The 86-89 Integras have a d16a1..it may be a close match too. 90+ Integras have b-series motors... ![]() There are lots of ZC parts available on e-bay and places like partstrader.com, etc.

Yes! I found some info.
The D16A1 crank came in 2 sizes. One has a 22mm snout (86-87) and one has a 24mm snout (88-89). Those may be backwards though. But the 88-89 should be the same as the ZC. |
