My wife just got hired for a new job at a place she's worked twice already. Same place I work.

Now that would be cool, to be able to work with your partner.

It's even better... I'll hardly see her. Except maybe for lunch. I work in an office, and she'll be outside all day.

Only if you have an extremely close relationship. I met my current girlfriend here at work, and we worked together for about a year, she was also living with me the whole time. It was WAY too much time together (for me anyways), and I absolutely hated it.

If I could impart some fairly hard-won nuggets of wisdom...

"Don't screw the crew"

"Flat incest is never a very good idea" ie Flat = shared accomodation

"Office Romance is a good idea and should remain just that an idea"

"The glass platen on a photocopier can break under loads that is was not designed for and is very difficult to explain to the office manager"

"Do not operate a document shredder without first securing your tie"

"Ponytails do indeed look stupid on a guy"

"Never offer to teach your girlfriend how to: a) drive b) play golf c) iron"

"At all costs never ever refer to an item of your anatomy as Mr Wiggly in a moment of passion"
