My second model to finish.. (After long brake. My introduction link is my sig)

Little under 2weeks ago i got an idea to make hotrod to local model car show. (It was saturday)
Few guys in irc told to do it..

So 9 long days i did build this.








Just little over paper hight to clear ground.

It has:
- Pennzoil dragster engine from Revell/Monogram model
- Mr.Model 21" alloys
- Mr.Model Flamed Dash
- Detail Master Fury Skull streering wheel
- Mr.Model Streeing column
- Mr.Model Licence plate frames

Moneypit names came for the money i spend in this :roll:

Every step i get forward i went 2 steps back. Too fast building and too little experience.

I would say that car is done, but later i will put cables etc. to engine.
I just need to find info how to connect dual magneto wires that engine have (at lease thats what i have been told).

That's superb for a simple Lindberg kit and you have a good variety of metallic presentation, especially with the alloys and the engine block. Simple yet detailed, great work.

What do you mean by more washes?

Very interesting model. I wouldn't mind building up something like this. I like the drilled out frame.

Trying to do my best witch is not much yet. Usually it's getting boring after i get primer part.

Yeah, but i haven't done anything to it for last 6month. Just little more bumber cutting and building.
But it might be faster finnish than my S13 project =D

I mean, bring more darkness into the hollow. A wash is a dark paint diluated into a thinner, then it's applied on the model/part. Like this, pigments will stay in the hollow when the thinner evaporates. I personaly use Winsor&Newton oil paints and thinner, it gives a good result.
On rust, you can do washes of brown and black it should give a better aspect of the surface.
