Finishing touches? License plate?? Naah...If you are going to run at 250km/h on the highway,there's no need of license plate!

Nice car and good build, but did you polish the bodywork? What type of paint did you use?

yes i did polish the body work but i just cannot get it to shine like i want to. I use light grey matallic by model master with tamiya clear.

Looks good, It would look 10x better with a higher shine polish. What did you use to polish?

I don't think it's a polsihing problem; I think it's something to do with your set up for taking photos.
You just have it in a bright room right?
Try and set up a table near a window so that you have a more directional light source, or even take it outside so that there are some objects that can be reflected by the paint surface. Even time of day (angle of the sunlight) makes a huge difference to how your paint can look in a photo.
