82 olds won't start

I've got a 1982 oldsmobile 98. Big car. It won't start. The battery is fully charged and when I turn the key, it cranks a time or two but then stops, like its stuck or can't turn itself cause its tired. Anyone know what could be wrong? Carburator?

Sounds like a bad starter, try a jump on it anyway. The boost will sometimes get a balky starter to kick over.

Yup, sounds like a starter to me. It could also be advanced ignition. If the distributor was somehow advanced it would cause kickback.
