How fast is your car?
I might buy a 91 CRX SI, and I would like to know how fast you have made yours. Please state mods, times and hp if you know it. And feel free to add anything else I might find interesting.

Mods:
- Chikara Header - Matrix Intake - Custom Exhaust (2 1/4" pipe, unknown muffler) - Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch -"short shifter" (stock shifter, but cut about 1"-2" off it) - Dropped 2" on unknown springs and KYB GR-2 shocks - Generic rear strut bar - Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's on 16" TSW Trophies I got a 15.8 or somewhere around that in the 1/4mile Interesting tid bit: Car and Driver refered to the CRX as the poor man's Porsche, the CRX is a great autocross car, and is one of the best looking Hondas. The real question is why you would want a CRX if you have a 300zx?

Yes CRX is all of those things, just not as good as the hatchback :finger:

I'm 17 w/o alot of money and would like something to tune.
The lower insurance and better gas mileage would help out alot. I have a friend w/ a 91 Si that is a bit faster then my car (don't know all the mods he has yet, I run High 14's) and he can sell it to me for 2,500, I could then get it to make some pretty good power. I am also going to Poland, and could use a little over a grand for that. And while I am gone If I still have the Z, it would need to be looked after alot better (157,000+ miles) than a CRX and The people I would normally trust w/ this are going with me. Don't get me wrong I love the Z, but I feel that right now isn't the best time for me to have one. Maybe when I'm 25 i'll just get a TT. It's pretty much the $$$, adn the need to tune something. |
