I got an idea how fast my car is now..

My friend has a 1997 DOHC neon (150hp stock) and he has : cai, header,exhaust, ecu.

Me I have a 1995 Honda civic dx coupe with an AEM CAI (and uh, integra ls engine)

My friend had another kid in his car.

We went to a stoplight.... We both spun like mad, and we were dead even. Second time we raced, he bogged badly, i had a good launch and i killed him. then we did a 3rd gear race. We were dead even.

I know his car runs high 14's, low 15's by himself. So i am guessin hed run mid-high 15's with that kid in the car. I think I can give a stock si its ass (because stock 1st gen dohc neons can beat si's)

Plus hes modded, and I am...


BTW. Paulvang31019 I think his sn is now... Paul is cool as
hell. He did my whole swap, except for the axles(axles cost me $302 to install at a local shop). He gave me a mount he had(since the swap place didnt give me a good one) And he did some other stuff I didnt expect him to do. He is the coolest ph person I have met (even tho ive only met one other lol) I still owe him some money on the swap. And he is bein coo bout it. i cant give Paul enuff props.... Thanks to him... I didnt have to pay $1,500 in labor to my local Elite performance shop. Thanks paul... Hope to talk to ya soon.

I was wondering about that cuz When I read the other thread where you postd that question, I though to myself, and I've never heard of anyone having to get diff. hubs when doing a swap. Is that guys neon manual? is your car manual?

yeah, I'm 4dr_threat....Glad to see they got the axles in. Very glad to hear about the preformance of it. Man, Aren't those axles a bitch though ? I always have problems with getting those bitches in with our cars too

I should be done with my motor tommorow if you wanna come take a look at it...call me up sometime...Maybe you can try out my buddy's 5th gen coupe with the b20(it's the one that had the blown motor with the turbo setup)since it's still nice as hell in MN(NO SNOW YET FELLAS:smoker2: )

Now I have bad news I dunno if im paranoid or something. But when north imports let me run the engine, it sounded fine. Now that i got my exhaust fixed, i have been able to actually hear what the engine sounds like. And it souds a lil rough like "tap, tap, tap..." and im gettin worried now , i wonder if my valves are bad
