how to build this????

ok. i know there is a die cast by sharper image.. but its not the same as this rendering!!! this one is so much better

anyways.. wondering how i should go about this?

kit bash? <--whcih kit?
cast pieces? <---how to start?
i made replicas of rims and other things but nothing from scratch
putty <--whats should i use for "structure"

any help would be good.. this just looks too good to be 2d

Are you strictly looking for 1/24 scale?

If not, I'd start looking in with some Sci-Fi stuff. Off the top of my head, that car reminds me of the transport from Aliens, some kind of buggy from Starship Troopers, and the bike from Akira.

At least it has smooth lines, so if you end up having to make it from scratch, it'd be a few sweeping panels...
