Turbo-SI Swap?

I need your opinions. I was thinking about selling my car and buying a WRX. But I've spent too much time and money on my 98' ex. So I was thinking about doing a b16 (SI) swap with a built turbo + intercooler. What do you think? Good idea or am I going to be disappointed?

That sounds like a good idea (the swap) if you want to keep the Civic, but, in all REALITY, the WRX would be a better investment. First, you'll have a new car. Second, the WRX motor is built for a turbo and is just bigger (2.0L). You can add more power to a WRX than you can get out of the Civic. If you read any of the turbo magazines, they did some articles on the WRX. A lot of the people upgraded the turbo and installed a FMIC and boost controller and some other piping type stuff and pushed out over 300WHP. Not too shabby for a 4-cyl. If you want to keep the Civic, so be it, but the WRX is the way to go if you want more power in the future (which you will). That's my next car. Check out the following links:
