Re: Shelby GT350 Hertz

Very well done and cleanly built, any engine pics with this? I'm just curious about the headlites, are those center dots a peg in the lens for alignment? I think it takes alittle away from the nice looking grill but overall a nice looking car.

Re: Shelby GT350 Hertz

Looks really good, great job, and it's a rent a car! I've got this one to do and was thinking of lowering it a bit and maybe using some different wheels.

I think the black dots on the headlights are the locating pegs, I usually get rid of them by cutting them off the headlights lenses and then covering the hole with BMF.

Re: Shelby GT350 Hertz

Now build a current generation Mustang GT to go along side this one, that would look tits!

Anyway, it's a verry nice looking build! Great work! Paint looks great. There is saposed to be a new Hertz Shelby, it'd be neat to have the old and new side by side.

Re: Shelby GT350 Hertz

yeah, my grandfather actually bought one from Hertz rental company, it only had like 20K miles on it when he got it for like $1200. his had the typical bolted in roll cage holes in the floor, the worn out gear box, bald tires, and a slight rattle from the valve train. he got it all fixed for like $100!
