Help Me I'm Choking--1985 Olds Toro

My Toronado is running like crap at start up. I did adjust a screw on the left side of the car, and the I thing its the pulloff on the right also was messing with. The Car was Idling to high and thought I knew what I was doing. It runs fine If I open the choke manually for a 30 seconds or so. Can someone please tell me how to adjust my choke.

Welcome to AF.There is a specific procedure for doing this, pulloff adjustment, fast idle and choke setting, are you comfortable tackling this? Hard to relate to you, maybe get a book on Rochester carbs for pictures and specifics.
