Scratch build an engine stand, build the motor highly detailed and put it on the engine stand.

Order a spare sprue with the engine parts from HLJ. That way you don't have to buy another kit.

You'll end up buying three trees B, C and D, which will cost pretty close to the actual kit price. (LOL) My instruction sheet is from the days when the kit was still 1500 yen, and the parts cost 1510 yen. Now the kit price is 1900 yen, so I'd think the parts are also more expensive.

I suggest that you just buy another R32 kit, and be happy with another curbside model. Or, if you want some racing equipment (for some other projects), get one of those Group-A or Group-N R32 racers.

Another solution is to get Aoshima's RB26 top-half engine kit. If you detail the engine room, omission of the block won't be too noticeable.

ok thnx, i have noticed with the rb26 r32 engine from tamiya, it looks like the engine is actualy attatched to the suspesnion or something? if you no what i mean. Is it actualy attatchd or is it a piece which is glued on, as in its not 1 whole piece is it?

Thnx

make a resin mold so you can always reproduce it.. there are instructions here..

im thinking of doin that to my sr20 aoshima motor becuase im putting that into a fujimi 180sx instead, and got other models like an fd rx7 and r32 that would also be cool with this motor swap.
