Alfa Romeo 155 DTM 'Martini'

One of my favourite kits Tamiya ever released, Tamiya's Alfa 155 in the lovely Martini livery.
Tamiya Pure White/Bright Red laquers, Aclad 2 for all drivetrain parts. PE limited, just extinguisher pull/tow hook, rivets and interior details/seat belts.
The carbon fibre was replicated using Halfords Rover charcoal which saved all the decalling.
A fun kit to put together, and superb tooling from Tamiya. I love the stance and the engine detail was to die for, a few wires and braided hosing was all that needed adding...

It looks the buisiness!! Colours look very vibrant, the red in particular! A great masking job you did.I think the Martini livery has to be one of my all time favourites. It just seems to look good on any car.Well done on a fantastic build.

Great job you did here. This sure is an eye catching model and you really made it shine. Nice engine detail too.

Looks really nice, great livery and well done for getting some outdoor photos in the UK where the weather has been rubbish recently! As can be seen from how wet the ground is!

Re: Alfa Romeo 155 DTM 'Martini'

that is fantastic! great details, and so CLEAN!

one tip though, you should try trimming the inside of the rim to match the tire width, since you can see the rims so easily with the hood off.

Man it looks so good!
Great and clever use of charcoal paint to simulate CF.
Love the car, you have done it justice.
Congrats.

Like the small amount of extra detail in the engine bay
