What is wrong with people??????

My civic got broken into last tuesday.. they stole my head unit, subs, 2 amps(all good quality), over 200 cds, a digital camera, 3 bottles of expensive ass cologne... Now I walk out this morning, and my OTHER window is busted.. and they stole my new head unit.. i'm about to give up on cars man.. I just wanted to vent a little bit... I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish I could find out who did it.. I wouldn't show any remorse.. and they did it at the totally wrong time.. I can't really afford to replace windows all the time(guess I have to) because I have so much other stuff going on right now.. it sucks... sorry.. I just had to vent..

I can fully empathize. I live in an apartment building with underground parking. You'd think that it would be a safe place to park your car but nope, my stereo was stolen twice in 6 months. They got into the car (CRX at the time) by popping off the B-pillar plastic piece that covers the edge of the window glass, and then popping the glass out a 1/2 inch to unlock the door.

I'm thinking about putting in an alarm to protect my new car, but I'm thinking, "Who the fuck is going to care if my alarm is going off in an underground parking lot at 4 in the morning?" I would consider getting a pager alarm but, a) I'm not sure if it can penetrate all the concrete between my apartment and my car, and b) what would I do if I was paged at some early hour of the morning? Go down there with a baseball bat? I'd end up getting into more trouble than the stereo is worth.

I've decided that the solution is having overinflated stereo receipts to show my insurance company...

Fucking thieves, they should all be shot...

They stole my stereo, but it was cause my dad didnt lock the damn car:o and then he was like "if I locked it they would have broken the window" And im like :finger:

Sorry to hear man, I have been there. One week my car was egged, and exactly a week later it was shot, and exactly a week after that my shit was robbed. What sucked the most is that at that time I lived in South Dakota, and it happened in the middle of winter, and I had to drive to work in the blistering ass cold with no window. I think they were testing for an alarm, who knows.
I hate fuckers like that. I fortunately have a garage now that I store my ride in. But my wifes car, I leave her doors unlocked, I figure if they want a stereo that bad, open the door an take it, don't bust my fucking window.
My suggestion is pull a midnight watch shift with a buddy periodically, you will catch the sons a bitches I guarantee it. Bottom line its somebody you know or within your neighborhood that knows that you replaced your shit. Randomly the odds are slim.. Its definately somebody watching

The cologne was in the glove box.. the camera was in the hatch area consealed, and the cds were hidden as well.. the thing is.. I don't know anyone in my area at all.. I am never here.. just to sleep.. and to be honest, it is a really bad area.. a few miles out from baltimore.. (ofcoarse not all areas right outside of baltimore are bad, but mine is really bad).. I was supposed to get an alarm installed a while ago but the guy doing it keeps delaying me saying his shop is so busy, blah blah blah... but anyway, i've looked at one place and i'm looking at like 4 more apartments today with a friend.. so i'll be gone from here very soon...

haha.. I thought about that one.. I would love to.. but that would probably catch my car on fire.. I was thinking of just electrifing my whole car.. so when they touch it, it will be like sitting in the electric chair.. guess that wouldn't work either though..

Actually that might work, just make sure to put a sticker on that says "Warning: High Voltage" to excuse yourself from any liability when they get electrocuted.
