golf car accident, yes

Ok, don't laugh too hard. I work at a golf course. It was about 7 pm and it was time for me to go lock the gates. Well after I lock the last gate at #4 there is a set of right-left curves that cross over a bridge and then runs adjacent to a creek. Well I was hot rodding it in my golf cart trying to find the fastest line through there. I made it through the right-hand turn over the bridge well, but as I went back for the left-hander my cart got major understeer. It pushed all the way into the curb surrounding the cart path where I hit it with the right front tire. The impact was so hard that it jerked the steering wheel right out of my hands, and the impact shot me back across the cart path, and right into...you guess it....the black-watered, stagnant creek. I bailed into the water right before the cart crashed into the bank on the other side of the creek, and drenched myself up to my neck in rank, nasty, stagnant water. Well I ran the mile and a half all the way to the clubhouse to tell the owner of the course that I had *parked* his cart into the creek off #4. So we went over there and there was a group of about a dozen people at the accident site, taking pictures and everything. The owner wasn't too mad, he had a good laugh looking at me drenched in nasty water and covered in moss. So we got the tractor and dragged the cart out of the creek and towed it to the maintinence area. Whew!

when i first saw the post. i thought it was goin to be like a head on collision of two golf carts like they're playing chicken. now that would've been cool. as soon as they hit, both drivers will fly throught the front and will end up in hte other carts. then they would both just drive off if they were too hurt. now that would've been really really cool
