What's Green and two shades of Yellow?

Tamiya's Lotus 107D, the only thing that isn't decal is the lightest yellow which is Citrus Yellow by KRYLON. Tire lettering done by R&M stencils.

Beautiful racing subjects that you've shown altogether. Gives me some motivation to do one of my many race cars.

Thanks, it only took about a week to do the decals on this one, This is where I learned the art of using a hot damp paper towel to get the decals to confirm. I was putting the towel in the Microwave but if you have really hot tap water that is all you need, It works faster than solvent and no wrinkles. It probably is better to use some kind of cloth than a paper towel. By the way this tip is from older Japanese model decal sheet instructions.

Ahh the Lotus 107
I had this as the 1/12 R.C version looked just the same I remember Tamiya raving about their sponsorship of a F1 team at the time...
shame it was driven by Johnny Herbert!!

Very nice build you've done there 935k3!!

There's nothing wrong with Johnny Herbert I have actually met and spoken to the guy and he is probably the friendliest of all the (ex)Formula 1 drivers I have met! (well except Martin Brundle!)

What I meant by 'shame it was driven by Johnny Herbert'...
well he wasn't one of the more successful drivers was he!!
