1/8 `32 Ford Rat rod

Hello guys my first posting here

This my Deuce from Revell with a few modifications to make a Rat Rod of it.
I have channeld and lowered the body and also replaced the kit wheels with some small steel rims and the small tyres.
I also made some new seats for thecar.

Here are some progres pictures (its just a dryfit for looking how its going to be)

Re: 1/8 `32 Ford Rat rod

At first I wasnt even going to look when I saw Rat rod but now that I did I'm just amazed. Instead of seeing a straight primered body with minimal engine detail, I find a beautifully rendered, extremely realistic body and a great looking engine to go with it. You must have great references because usually I find weathered bodies mostly randomly dirtied up but you sure made this look totally real. The patterns and tones are the best I've seen. Fantastic job so far.

Wow that is some awesome work, the weathering is impeccable. It looks so real both on the body and the engine.

Re: 1/8 `32 Ford Rat rod

Hi!

As everybody said, weathering is outstanding!

If I can make a constructive critic, your engine deserves another type of belt... Maybe one made from tamiya tape black painted?

Keep on this way!
