S13 Silvia with Bodykit
As the weathers stopping me from doing any spraying I thought I'd make a start on this one - it's the recent Aoshima release with engine. It's slightly disappointing as it's only a 1/2 engine but what there is is nicely detailed and should look ok. So far I've roughed out the bodykit with plastic sheet & Tamiya epoxy putty -the front will need lot more work but the general shape is there.

looks great, I'll have to watch this one. what body kit are you using as inspiration/duplacating? I like the looks of the front bumper.

sweet any pics of the molded engine?
so are those the wheels u settled on? It would be sweet if you can get the "stance", the negative offsets and negative camber =flush wheels.. something i think alot of the silvia modelers fail to capture on these jdm cars like this http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...Picture044.jpg

please don't take offense to this, because it isn't your fault. that motor is just something to get pissed off about!!! yeah, the details that it has are good, and it is a motor in a S13, but wow is that depressing!!!
I do like the the underhood details, are they all seperate pieces, or moulded in? you are doing a fine job on this, and I am very excited to see it finished. keep up the good work.
