Trouble Starting my car

I have a 97 Jeep Wrangler and i tried to start it today and all it did was make a rapid clicking noise. All the gagues and the radio turned on fine though. Anyone know what the problem could be? Any help/idea/suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Trouble Starting my car

Agreed, could be the starter. Also check for corrosion and tightness at the battery/starter terminals. They might be letting enough juice through to operate low-draw items like the radio, but not enough for the starter.
