Unhappy E30 3.25i Fuel injectors

I've got a problem with the fuel injectors on my car. They are permanently switched on(open) and it's just floooding the engine. I'm hoping it's just a short in the system, Apparently there is a common fault which is often underneath the inlet manifold. Has anybody seen this before, any help would be greatly appreciated cos an Auto Electrician is gonna cost me an arm and a leg.

UPDATE

Hi guys, thought I'd post you all to let you know what the fault turned out to be. The ECU went bang, and when I say bang I mean BANG!!! I'm an electronics engineer by trade and I have never seen anything like this before. The tracks of the PCB were raised out of the laminate. When I returned the old one, to the place where I managed to find a second hand one, they said they had never seen anything like it either ! Anybody heard of this before ? It's the 35 pin ECU, which is the earliest of the E30. They also made 55 and 80 something as well.
