3.1 fuel injectors

I have a 1996 Lumina sedan with 3.1 L (#17109826). I got some injectors on ebay, and found out that they are the type used in 1990-1994 3.1 engines (#17084888). The numbers are different, but the guy assured me they would work. Are they interchangeable? They look very similar on the outside but I am afraid they may have different fuel flow rates. I imagine this could have a definite impact on performance and/or economy. Any experts out there?
