just drove a 96 5 speed maxima.

it feels really different then what i expected it to be. its sooo smooth. the revs are smooth and even when i tried to peel the tires by shifting hard. i didn't feel a jerk at all. its interesting. i know the cars fast and should be faster then my car but my car feels sooo much faster. its weird.

Trust me, it's faster than your car by a good little bit.

i doubt that a "stock" 96 max 5 speed would be a good little bit faster then my car. i was watching how fast the speedo was climbing and i timed it from point A to point B in both cars to see what speed it hit when it hit point B. my car hit 100, when his hit 90. but the maxima at the time had 4 people. when i was driving my car i had 2 people. sooo i think it would pretty close.

Trust me, I've driven both a mildly modded 240 and a stock and bolt on 4th gen maxes. The Max is faster. Try running your car with 4 people (not that anyone will want to ride in the back) and see how fast it is.
