01 530i
I recently traded for a low mileage 2001 530I. It was certified and like new. The tires were out of round and the dealer put on 4 new tires and did an alignment. My question is: the car seems to pick up alot of vibration at highway speeds from the road which is not related to tire balancing. It seems like more feedback that it should be. Dealer sayes its the way 5's are. I also have an x5 which does not do it and I previously had a 325 which also did not do it. Any feedback?

Re: 01 530i
I have a 2001 530i and it rides as smooth as silk even at 60,000 miles. I did have a dealer balance my tires poorly and got vibration. Make them do it again correctly. The only other cause would be a defective tire.

Re: 01 530i
Your dealer would tell you 5's loose a wheel if one fell off. This is an expensive car with a world wide reputation of good engineering - they should not vibrate I have driven mine in Germany flat out and it just keeps going!
