I fixed the door pop.

Thats right, those of you who remember the small discussion on the very load popping door. Well, i fixed it. Want to know how?

I went to the junkyard and pulled the part off non loud popping doors. So much quieter now.

Oh, I also picked up three extra ones if anyone wants them.

See, I thought about putting that in there. But people know it better as the popping part.

Just give me your address if you want one.

As for putting them in, if you have a 10mm socket, a philips screwdriver, 7 minutes of precious time, and have some very, very basic automotive skills. You can do it.

But, it all depends on how loud your pop is now. Mine got to the poit where it was way loud. I mean, loud enough my wife knew I was home by the two pops. But the detent rod I put it still pops, but very quietly now. It's about as loud as dropping a pen on the cement, if that.
