Anyone got '03 Cobra Wheels?

Or know where to find em? They're slightly different than the '99 Cobra's... I'll be using those wheels if I can't find the right ones...

Re: Anyone got '03 Cobra Wheels?

I bet they'd be fairly easy to build, what with the flat spokes, and straight cuts and all. I can see what I could do, and if they turn out, I could cast them in resin. it'd be much easier to just find a kit with them though, hahaha.

Heh, well I'd appreciate that, but I'm not sure the customer would want to spend more than $5-10 on a set of resin wheels. If you think you can toss them together for that or less, for sure, I'd love it.

As it stands I think I'm just going to take '99 Cobra wheels and sand them flat and smooth like that, maybe use filler...

I was just checking out the mustangs in my repetoir, I think the wheels from the saleen convertable are a closer match, and it's a superb kit to boot.

Re: Anyone got '03 Cobra Wheels?

Hmm... not worth buying an additional kit for the wheels. They look a bit similar, I'd have to fill in the "ribs" on the spokes.

you're right, they do look quite similar, but the C6 wheels are what, 19" and 20" ? Not the right scale...

Re: Anyone got '03 Cobra Wheels?

this is one of the many conversions I've been planning. I've wanted to make the hood and front facia, as well as the rear spoiler and sell it as a trans kit for the 99. But time has not permitted these ventures...
