Hobby shows in Europe

Hello !!

Which is the most popular hobby show in Europe?

We saw a days ago some pictures from a great event in Frankfurt, but from each country, which one is the bigger and more important hobby show?

For example, in Spain the best show is the AMT-Torrent. More than 1000 models, but just about 90 cars & bikes.

Re: Hobby shows in Europe

I think ALL model shows are the most important. if you go to one, get a trophy, go to the next with the same kits, and win more trophies!! haha I'm not a very competitive builder, but I do like going to shows to talk and get tips/techniques from other builders in various fields.

sorry I don't have any answer for you, because I live in the states, but like I said, go to as many as you can. this way YOU can help make it a better show, if only by showing up.

Re: Hobby shows in Europe

I think it´s not that easy, if you ask for whole Europe. Most people are working with military-models or planes so it is hard to find some car-fanatics.

Biggest show in Germany i would say is the "Intermodellbau" in Dortmund. You will find producers like Revell there as well as private model-builders.
If you never have been there, it´s worth a visit. Take a look:

Ok, right now i see they call themselves "biggest show in Europe" - maybe!?

Furthermore a heard Jabbeke in Belgium would be really nice, but i hadn´t have the time to get there yet. You will find some pictures here:

Do you have any further information about "AMT-Torrent"?
