Exclamation 98 Silhouette Electrical Problems

My gauge panel is dead--the lights come on but none of the gauges work. Speedometer, tach, fuel, odometer, trip, temp--all don't work. It's blowing a 10 amp fuse that appears to be related to the panel. My electric door locks recently stopped working and my power sliding door has worked when it wants to over the last two years. Is this becoming a huge electrical problem? I can do without the power sliding door, but I need the gauges to work. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Please start a new thread to ask your question instead of resurrecting an 18 month old thread. You may link to this thread if it helps your issue.
I've seen some issues that are electrical in nature in these vans related to the wiring under the passenger side carpeting. The carpet gets wet and the wires corrode causing all sorts of problems including shorts, improper functioning of switches and the sliding door(s) among others. You might want to check that area and see the condition of the wiring.
