Maverick 74 - 98% Made In Brazil - W.i.p.

Hello guys... I came from Tuners and Hot Rods and this is my 1st topic on Muscle Cars...

This is very special for me... Resin cast kit made in Brazil... Photo Etched made in Brazil and Rims made in Japan...

It is a Ford Maverick 1974 from Dom´s Models....

The aftermarket from Dom´s Models too came with custom metal parts...

1st move.... 220 grit sand paper... on circulated areas I´ll repair with Tamiya epoxi putty... very easy...

The body and hood are so smooth and only throble are those...

I did open rear lens for a new visual... like Foose and Trepanier rides....

Not a expressive progress... but I did all in 3 hours....

Thanks to see... feedback are welcome!!!!

I hope U like it!!!!! Sorry for my very bad english!!!

Re: Maverick 74 - 98% Made In Brazil - W.i.p.

A little update...

I did a repair on rigth door with Tamiya epoxi putty... (on red circle) and 2 part automotive putty (on blue circle)

I did sand with 240 grit paper...

Now modification time...

Inspired on 70 Cuda I did air vents on hood... and I did close original air vents...

Inspired on Foose´s Stallion Stang and Trepanier´s Fast Foward I did the new rear end...

I really hope U like it... and feedback and all comments are welcome...

One more time Sorry for my english....

I primered body and hood and sanded with #400 grit sand paper w/ water.

After all sanding... some point needs more putty.
