Some people... I swear..

It has recently come to my attention, from a friend of a friend, that a GSR running only a turbo (doesn't matter how many pounds of boost) can beat a 300zx TT no sweat.

Maybe it's just me.. or are people that bloody stupid? Somone explain to me how half the engine, and half the turbos can do that? Common sense says otherwise.

I don't even know what to say to end this post. Correct me if I'm wrong, seriously, but this just blows my mind. Ignorance. I think I'm going to be sick...

How can it not matter how many lbs of boost? An Integra GSR running 7 lbs would have a hard time accomplishing this feat, however the same GSR running 15lbs would have a fairly good shot. 300ZXs are high 13 second vehicles, hardly unbeatable.

With 15 lbs of boost, how long do you think the internals would last on that GSR? Keep in mind that this is JUST a turbo hooked up to the car. No engine management, no internal work, nothing but a turbo. That was what the guy said. He didn't give any specifics as to the size of the turbo, just any turbo. Sorry I didn't make that more clear in the earlier post.

you wanna talk about lag, my TT auto was pulling 2.6 60ft times with power braking it. as for prelewd, stock Z's are slow, gsr can't take 15 psi with no engine management or fuel upgrade, impossible. My buddy managed to crank out 13 psi on stock internals, with at least hondata, fpr, 450cc injector, and a fuel pump, may have had more to do it. it was fairly reliable, nitrous blew it. that car would ass rape a stock TT, and probably most modded ones. I believe he was trapping in the 120's

I'm sorry I started this thread.... The point was that the kid didn't know what he was talking about, yet he was running his mouth. I'm sorry if you didn't catch that in the beginning.
