a little help from some people with some experience

my friend has an 86 crx and wants to put an 88 motor in it due to the ability to fix it up better. his 86 motor is shot (head gasket i think) and he wants to know exactly what his options are as far as what kind of motors will fit inside of his car. he only wants it for drag and rae purposes so it doesn't matter if it's street legal or if the hood or fenders will even fit on the car lol (we took the fenders and hood off in 12 mins... hondas are too easy lol) ANY info will be GREATLY aprreciated

thanks bundles

Once again, SEARCH. I gaurentee you that if you search, you will find more information then you'll ever want.

Here's an idea, search, then come back with some setups you like and we'll help you from there.

there isnt much that fits into the 3rd gen engine bay of that car. alot of custom fabricating will need to be done. your chances are slim that anything will fit without extensive mods. you'd be better going to a local shop that does motor swaps and seeing what they suggest.
