IN some kits you could paint the bonnet black for make the carbon effect; why don't you use carbon decals?
It's better

I've painted some of mine black in the past, just because I didn't know about the carbon fiber decals. And if I ever do paint another one black, it would be because black paint is easier to find that carbon fiber decals.

Kicker,
You can get carbon decals from www.scalemotorsports.com they are about $8 a sheet, but they come in quite a few different black/other color combos.
I have also got the same decals cheaper off of EBay for cheaper than that from a seller calling himself starhobbies
I hope that helps you find the decals, I think a sheet is enough to do 3 hoods at most, at least 2.

Ray

I don't have any way to buy things online, and the nearest hobby shop is 2 hours away.
