Yeah a couple months ago I went insane... I was trying to find a 1.6 Vti (euro SiR) in good condition and the seller would be willing to ship to US... I got bitchsmacked back into reality after looking for a couple of weeks.

Very nice, the EDM VTs are sweet... but someone should tell them that the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car

BTW - can you imagine if the interior was the same as the EDM CRX VT in black leather? mmmmmmmmmmmm

Yeah I wish I had leather seats, my seats are in pretty bad shape I have them redone next week, I was thinking about leather sides but that's a bit too costy I'm afraid..

hmm, not a bad idea but I would get a lot of angry faces around here when I did that. Many Honda enthusiasts over here are looking for good VT's and there aren't that many VT's left in Holland, most are imports from Germany (so is mine).

but seriously it would be cool to start something like that but I think the price for a VT would become way too high with all the tax/shipping and stuff..

bracer: do the VT Civics have vinyl on the side bolstering the same as the SiR?

BTW - how hard is it to match the cloth? I want to see about getting cloth for my SiR for when (if) I need it, but it has to look the same as the original. Fortunately, the seats are still in great condition, but could do with a bit more padding on the driver's side.

Cheers

No the VT Civics don't have the vinyl sides, here's a pic of my seat http://home.wanadoo.nl/ee9/intp/stoel.jpg (now you see why I have them repaired..)
I don't know how hard it to match the cloth, I'm going to this company next week specialized in car seats, if they can't match the cloth I think I have the side bolsterings redone in leather.

Ah - might be the only difference in the seats then between the EDM and JDM. Mine has vinyl on the uprights - scratched up a bit as my butt hits it as I slide in (no comments thank-you - I only weigh 62 kilos ).
