Revell Ferrari Enzo

Well, since I was already disapointed with the assembly of Modena 360 from revell, I didn't expect anything great with the enzo. Engine assembly was already not very pleasant. A lot of things don't align, parts are hard to find in the parts frame, they are thrown around all over the place. I don't know what revell is thinking, but this should be the last kit I buy from them.

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

Some of revells kits are good, and the revell enzo sadly isnt a good kit, the wheels are silly ones normal in their kits, but some of their other kits are good. but i think for over half the tamiya price, its worth the little problems.

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

A little update. Fitted most of the engine. Really had to fight with exhausts, because revell sucks for fitments. Otherwise improvisation with colors here and there. Hard to define them in the pictures, much better in person
Thanks

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

me thinks that by the end of this wip you will like it. i built this kit a while ago. the only parts that didn't fit for me were the small scoops on the lower part of the car.

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

Trust me, this Enzo is a way better kit than some Revell has put out. It is quite detailed and has a lot of parts. Sure, fitment might not be great, but at least it has an engine. The worst kit I have ever built was actually a Tamiya--the Porsche 959. I was so angry by the time I was done with that I resolved to never again buy another Tamiya kit (I changed my mind later, but still...) It was terrible--missing tons of parts that should've been there. This Revell Ferrari is very nice compared to that, and is way cheaper than Tamiya's Enzo, which I've heard is actually harder to build, what with all the moving parts. It can't be that bad

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

It is kind of an opportunity cost - the Revell Enzo.

If you want an alright static model go with the Revell for the price. If you want a really challenging build and some moving parts, pony up the oney for the Tamiya.

I have never even considered the Revell based on what it is.

I was at Michaels when I bought this kit, they don't have any Tamiya stuff

Re: Revell Ferrari Enzo

Nice work!

Is really sad to know about the low quality of Revell kits.
