Strange little nusance help
I hit a bump in my 2004 Grand Am the other day. Ever since in has made a blinker sound randomly. It doesn't do it at certain speeds because it also does it when the car is in park. The blinkers themselves work fine its just that this random noise is annoying and it seems like something that a mechanic would charge too much for. I think a connection is just loose but I don't know what to look for or where to look. Help me please.

Re: Strange little nusance help
Sympathasize with your problem, but realistically someone has to listen to this, in this environment even a second guess would be fruitless, get a pro to just listen to it.

Re: Strange little nusance help
The noise you hear or clicking is a common problem on the Grand Am and other GM "N" body cars. There is a GM TSB and recall out on the flasher unit that may resolve the issue. It should be covered under a special GM warranty.
Another possibility is the multifunction switch if the hazard/flasher relay fix does not work.
