Tamiya PORSCHE 911 GT2

just bought the kit 2day and am deciding on wat colour 2 paint it

it would be most appreciated if sum one could post up a pic of their porsche gt2 model which has been completed in a colour that is not the light blue, yellow or white as in the instructions.

i paint mine in french blue but it come out too dark. i guess it looks best in midnight purple.

WOW! NICE JOB PMAN

i've just completed doing the dashboard decals. AND their a bitch! i spent 1 1/2 hours using a toothpick, and tweezers strainin my eyes




think i'm gonna paint mine candy lime green :smoker2:

I'm doing my 64 Impala lowrider in that colour, you should do an undercoat of Chrome silver first I think, thats what I am doing with mine for the maximum effect of the metallic. Yours is metallic ain't it?

umm not too sure if candy lime green is a metalic colour, i would of thought it would of been more of a pearl

candy colours are normally a very deep colour that doesn't really fit into either metallic or pearl categories
