I just bought a 1997 Gardnd-Am GT with a 3.1 engine I have 2 problems

Problem 1
The engine starts and it misses big time, I changed the plugs and wires no change the engine light is on and flashing. I do not have a code reader, next question what thpe of code reader will I need for the 97,

Problem 2

The drivers power window is shot, I did take the door apart and tested the power everything is ok, is there a way to manualy raise the window

Re: How do I test the coil Pack

I posted in one of your other thread last night Rolm.

Heres a link for the coils, Ignition Coil

You can find other info you may need too.

ABout the window, if you cna get to the motor and turn it by hand maybe you cna get it closed at least.
You said you test it for power, did you test the wires at the window motor also ? Just to double check that the motor is fried before you disassemble the door any furthur.
