SuperCharged or Not?

question real quick.....the guy who sold me my MR2 (85) claims it's a supercharged, but I keep reading on the internet that supercharged didn't appear in MR2's until 86....can someone help me out here or tell me how to find out if mine is supercharged

yes 86 is when they put a super charger in the MR2. so if itz a 85 then no itz not. if u want to check the engine should say "Twin Cam Super Charge" on the manifold*
