Easy kills: Civics, some integras, Accord V6, Camry's, non-turbo MR2(they get off the line quick but they cant keep it up ),and other no brainers like Huydais

Hard target: Known sports cars(ie corvette, Cobras, S2000, Riced out type R integras, Porsches) VW's are pretty quick too and the new CL type S will be a bit tough

These have been my experiences.:flash:

You should be able to take a solara pretty easy, it will be tough with the IS300 though, depending on whether or not it's manual.

My friends dad drove a IS300 for a test drive and he says it lacks power, but I dont know if he is comparing that to his RX7 or if he means it lacks power in general.

IS 300

Guys,

I have driven an IS 300, both stick and autostick(a.k.a. auto). Even if you powerbreak the auto, the max will beat it. I have a 5 sp., and i know that I could beat it off the line. The only trouble is when the IS gets going. It just seems to keep going. So, in my opinion, off the line (light to light race), we would definitely beat the IS, on a highway setting I believe that the IS would win.

I got a question for you all, does your max seem to fizz out at the top end? I only have a catback exhaust and a stillen intake.....

Also, on hot days/humid days, my gas pedal is mushy... but on cool days, that pedal is quick to respond to my foot... any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have no problem with top end, just with low end. It seems like the max doesn't hit it's sweet spot until about 3500 or 4000 rpms. That is just mine though.

You're right

Street Racer,

You're right. Once you're around 3500 the car just takes off!

Maybe it's just me, but on hotter days the car just doesn't want to run fast??

pretty much every car will run worst on a hot day, hot air doesnt react with the fuel as well as cool air will.

my car doesn't like extremes, if it is too cold it will bog down and the engine will seem cramped up, if it is too hot, the engile will feel like it runs out of oomph near the top of the rev range.
