I just recently bought a 93 for the woman-person with the creature wiggling in her belly. Well, there is this wonderful digital entry keypad under the door handle, but we don't have the code!!!!!
Does anyone know if the number is stamped or written somewhere on the car (and no, i don't have the owner's manual). Any help would be much appreciated!! THANKS!!:frog: |

Me again. about the "gimme" in the subject of my previous post...does anyone have the driver's switch for the power windows and power locks that they want to trade with me. I will give the potential trader some green paper with monetary value, or something of the sort. THANKS AGAIN!!!!:licker:

There is a "Master Code" which can be found if you lie on your back on the passenger-side leg room and use a flash light to look up under the dash. There should be a 5-digit (that's what I remember; that was 7 years ago) number somewhere near the door. With that "Master Code" you can re-program the "keyless door entry code". That applies to my 1992 Maxima. If you find the code on your 93 Max and still need help, drop me an Email at [email protected] (I don't read forum that often)
Hope that helps. |

hey you will not find in the door panel or any where else on the exteroir of the car. I have a decked out 94 max the code is located under your glove box. not in the glove bax but under it it will be on a gold or silver plate. It will be a sequence of numbers. You will have to lay down and look under the glove box it should be in the left hand side if you are on your back looking up. if you need any other help just email me at [email protected] as for your switch search ebay motors.

3gen MAxima Keyless Programming
Nam92Max was kind enough to email me the instructions from his manual for reprogramming the keyless entry, so I'm posting the steps here for others who need them.
3rd gen 85-92 Maxima Keyless Entry Programming (door touchpad, not remote): FC : The 7-digit Fixed Code Number (from factory found under the dash) UC : User Code (your number you're trying to program) Programming Procedure: 1. Press start/clear (C/ST buttom) 2. Enter the 7-digit FC (a beep will sound for 6 seconds) 3. Enter a 4 to 7 digit UC (while the beep is sounding) 4. After the UC is entered, the beep will sound at short intervals. This indicates successful entry of the UC. If wrong numbers are entered, the beep will not shound. Press the C/ST buttom, then enter a valid UC to unlock the doors. UC Rules: - UC with all digits on the same button not allowed (examples: 1-2-1-2 or 3-3-4-4) - UC requiring sequential operation of the buttons not allowed (examples: 1-3-5-7 or 7-5-3-1) |
