3rd gen Mustang VS 3rd gen Camaro...the facts

Pretty cool thread..... but I notice that some of the younger fellas seem a bit biased and don't have the true facts............. I have some videos on my website www.SuperCarVideos.com of vintage footage from the 1980s featuring factory "pure stock" 5.0 Mustangs VS. Buick Grand National VS 5.7 TPI IROC....etc.....
================================================== ==
The 5.0 Mustang (trunk edition) coupes were badass (mid-high 14's)
The 5.0 Mustang Hatchback - low to high 15's
The IROC 5.7 TPI (L98 350) were lucky to hit high 14's
The 5.0 305's were anywhere in the mid 15's to low 16's
And the Buick GNs anywhere from the 13's on up to 15's (depending on driver)
The 1985 GT Mustangs seemed to be extra nasty out of the hole....

OOps.... sorry guys, no more website plug!

Sorry about that, I'm a newbie and couldn't find my original reply to this thread so posted this one...... didn't realize the thread was beat down. And sorry about the website plug, it won't happen again. Just thought some of you might be interested in the 80s cars match ups.

I can understand being a newibe, we all were at one point in time.

If there is one thing that can get you off this board quicker than anything elese is advertising. That is why we have to be harsh about it. Welcome to AF!!

5.7 cars were lucky to hit 14s?...lol

go look at some people's time on thirdgen.org...some people have fairly low mileage cars running low 14s with free mods

how do you download the vids anyway? I click on the link and it says what the vid is about, no link to download the video.
