exhaust info

How much horsepower will a arospeed tuneable bomb muffler and a k-n air filter give a 2002 eclipse rs .How much louder will it be with the silencer out .I need to check my local laws before i put it on .I 've been told that some loud mufflers want pass our virgina inspection and don't want to put it on and then have to take it off .Thanks for any help guys

I dotn knwo what part of Va you are in, put here in south central, they dont harass us. I think in northern va though you might have a problem. To be honest you probably wont notice a difference in power.

You are probably going to pick up anywhere from 10-15hp, not enough to feel, but your car will definitely sound more aggressive.

You'll get 5hp from your intake and 10hp if its cold air, and 0hp from the muffler. Shoot you might get 0.5hp from it...
