1995 Camaro Exhaust info needed
Greetings everyone. I am new to this forum but I wanted to get some information about my 1995 Camaro Z28. I am interested in adding headers,a high flow cat, and a cat back exhaust to my Z. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best headers, high flow cat, and cat back exhaust were for this application? Also, I live in VA and was wondered if anyone might know of a place close to Richmond that might install this equipment. As you all know, doing any engine work is a real pain due to space constraints. Thanks

Re: 1995 Camaro Exhaust info needed
Welcome to the forum but as I don't know your application a little more feedback would be great. Such as what are you looking for performance wise and sound wise?. What other modifications do you have? and the most important question what can you afford to spend on the exhaust?.

Re: 1995 Camaro Exhaust info needed
John,
Thanks for responding. I have a K&N high flow intake assembly with K&N filter, and I've re-tuned the car using the Hypetech Power Programmer III. I've also installed a lower temp thermostat (180 degree) for extra cooling. As far as what I am looking for, I would like to obtain a little more power but I have no intention of racing the car. I just want a little more response from the car. I know this is going to cost some money but I am willing to spend up to $2K for the upgrade. Hope this helps pinpoint my goals. Thanks again, Ron Quote:

Re: 1995 Camaro Exhaust info needed
Borla, Magnaflow, SLP, B&B, Flowmaster, DynoMax, Corsa, Hooker.
They're all good brands, I'm sure I missed some. It depends on what kind of sound and flow rate you're looking for. Do a search either on the forum or on the web for exhaust sounds. I know there is a site out there somewhere that has sound clips of different mufflers on different engines. |
