Re: won't start

running it out of gas maybe burned the fuel pump. Check for fuel pressure.

Re: won't start

I think i may have figured it out i believe when i had the motor still being held by the lift it ran great but when i set it down and fastened my motor mounts thats when it did'nt start so i lifted it back out and low and behold the crankshaft positioning sensor wires were cut from the motor mount. I fixed that and hopefully when i put it back in everything is ok.

It is a 1989 beretta gt manual 5 speed , the motor came out of a same year beretta

Re: won't start

With the vehicle cranking, do you have an injector pulse? Do you have spark? Is there a tach signal when you crank the vehicle? On a lot of these type vehicles there is a purple wire with a white tracer, goes from the ignition module to the computer, carries the rpm signal. No signal and the vehicle won't start.
