quick almost finished wip, Aoshima Suzuki Cappuccino

Hey guys,
I've been super extra busy this last week and a half (worked 70 hours last week, will have at least 70 again this week) and my model time is limited. I've still got to decal the sileighty I finished in tribute to my mom, and the little aoshima cappuccino here

needs some decaling and some rims....I've had this one for a while and the chassis was built up for it a long time ago, and the body was primed and then it sat...until I tried using dupli-color primer on it and it crazed like..well crazy..lol (also found that dupli-color doesn't like fujimi plastic either) anyway I wanted this one done and sanded it down some to help with the plastic texture, and shot it in Tamiya candy green pearl over white primer and cleared with tamiya ts-13. And here it sits...wheels currently sitting in csc waiting for a trip to go get them(csc tank is at my "workshop" - father-in-law to be's garage) I'm thinking of painting the wheels gloss black or gunmetal for some contrast.

Any comments and critiques are welcome, I'll get some better pics soon

Gray

Heh. Just get the AMT cinderblocks from the parts bin to finish it off. The black or gunmetal would do fine tho for the rims. Keep upthe awsome progress!

p.s., is that hilux like a lowrider 4x4? or is it just showing off it's offroad capabilities?

lol, the hilux isn't a lowrider yet...I took the chrome wheels off of it and sent them to he csc tank for a black repaint as well. I was going thru my wheel case looking for some small wheels to go on the Cappuccino and those wide and wiiider fujimi rims just kinda looked cool on the truck, so I stuffed them into the space between the fender flares, and the brakes lol so its sitting on its suspension right now. maybe in a few years I'll redo the truck into a high speed road race mobile..lol

Cool...gunmetal should look nice. Which rims are you going to use? (pics?)
